About This Site

When I first started my Video Production business over 10 years ago, I thought that as a business owner, I just had to do what I was taught in college about running a business and keep my integrity and value of work high and I would be successful. It wasn’t until I actually starting running a business of my own that I learned that black business owners have a different set of rules and experiences we have to go through and deal with, that unfortunately I was never taught being one of the only entrepreneurs in my family.

As I continued to run my business, I began to take note of the things that could have been different had my skin been a different color. I began to share my stories with other minority business owners as well.

I started this site to share those stories and to fellowship with others who may have their own stories to tell that helps our businesses grow. From time to time I’ll put up an experience that I’ve had in my business that I believe other African-Americans in business can take a piece of information away from as we continue to grow, support, and do good business together.

If you have a story that you would like to share, please contact me and send your story as the message so I can post it here on the blog. Keep in mind that the story may be edited for public viewing, however the meat of the subject will remain in tact. That I guarantee you.
